Why Hypnotherapy?
Hypnosis as been recognized by the American Medical Association since 1958 as technique used to produce unconscious change, although it has been used under various names for centuries and even millennia. It has a vast scope of practice including, but not limited to, losing weight, smoking cessation, pain management, improved concentration and memory, past life regression, and even breast enlargement and yes, scalpel free and scientifically proven).

What is Hypnosis?
Have you ever been so engulfed in a movie, show or video game that you didn’t hear the person next to you say your name? Yes? Then you’ve been in trance before. Have you ever been driving somewhere and all of a sudden, noticed you can’t remember part of the drive? Yes? Then you’ve been in trance before. Hypnosis and Trance is a very normal and natural state that most people enter in on a daily basis. You are always in control,  and you only accept the suggestions that are given which are consistent with your own internal values and beliefs.

How Hypnosis Works:
All hypnosis is self-hypnosis. If I ask you to close your eyes and relax all the muscles around your eyes, I am unable to do it for you. You must choose to follow or not follow my instructions. Essentially, by allowing yourself to follow instructions that will bring you into a deep state of relaxation, it will open your unconscious mind to suggestions, which when aligned with your values, will increase your ability to achieve your goals successfully.
